Based on post- and noise rock, the young Danish band Kúlu is quietly making its mark on the Danish music scene. Their debut EP 'Quiescence' was released in 2019 and in 2020 the band is releasing new music leading up to their debut album which is to be released in early 2021. The single 'I'm Right Here' was out in February and only two months later they have the new single 'Seeking' ready for release.

The song is characterized by a sharply defined sound image that oozes with authority and conviction. No wonder, since we are dealing with five experienced gents on the Danish music scene who know exactly what they want and have the tools they need to achieve it.

Kúlu is a band that creates engaging, dramatic and infectious textures and nuances in their music that listeners can return to and always discover and find new meaning in.

The group's new single 'Seeking' unfolds the quintet's format and hovers on dark wings through the high-voltage, vibrant soundscape. Dennis Winterskov's expressive vocals anchor the song's lyrical drama. Daniel Buchwald's and Søren Sunding's guitars smell like predators at night, exploring the terrain along with Torben Guldager's pulsating bass and Asger Techau's dynamic kraut-influenced drum rhythms. Towards the end they climax-collide in joyfully explosive noise cascades.

Guitarist and songwriter Daniel Buchwald elaborates:
“'Seeking' is about addiction in different instances. Both the positive and the negative dependence, where you constantly feel that you can do things better and exceed yourself. "
